Julie Buck, Central Crossing High School Head Volleyball Coach

The Central Crossing High School Athletic Department would like to welcome Julie Buck as our new Head Volleyball Coach. Julie has been the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at West Jefferson High School since 2005. In her second year of coaching at West Jefferson, which was their first year in the Mid State League, they won the league championship and advanced to the Central District semi-finals to complete one of the best seasons in West Jefferson volleyball school history. Julie was named the MSL Coach of the Year. Their JV team won the MSL, as well, and finished the year 18-3. Their freshmen team also had a successful season.

Julie also excelled in her own college volleyball career by receiving several honors, including 1st Team NJCAA All American, 1st Team All-Region, and 1st Team All-Conference (2000-2001). She was also awarded 2nd Team All-Conference at Columbus State in Basketball.
Julie has coached and participated in several volleyball camps to add to her list of professional experiences. She is presently a Fitness Coordinator and Personal Trainer at the Hilliard YMCA and has been involved in the fitness arena for several years. She plans to use her strength and conditioning program, open gyms, camps and summer programs, to have a strong program at Central Crossing High School.
