13, 2006 Note: The boys and girls track and field
teams are off to an outstanding start to the season. This
past weekend both the boys and girls finished 4th at the very
competitive Hilliard Darby Invitational and both teams won
a dual meet with Delaware Hayes yesterday. Brittany Doherty
broke her own school record in the 400 meter run with a time
of 59.1 seconds; Shaun Sands broke his own school record in
the pole vault with a vault of 12 feet 6 inches; Dereck Moss
tied a school record in the 100 meter dash with a time of
10.8 seconds; and Rebecca Koch tied a school record in the
Pole Vault. Several other athletes have had outstanding performances
so far including Ciera Banks winning the shot put at the Hilliard
Inviational, along with the 4x400m relay team of Doherty,
Whitney Tucker, Brianna Barber, and Jordan Kennedy.
