The girls squad, Mackenzie Meadows, Lena Beckworth, Jessica
Kraer, and Lauren Ford took second place in the 200 yard freestyle
relay. Jessica Kraer set a personal best in the 100 backstroke,
and Mackenzie Meadows finished second in the 100 freestyle and 100
breaststroke, while setting a personal best in the 100 breaststroke.
Lauren Wagoner finished second in the 200 free. Lena Beckworth finished
second in both the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. Lauren Ford
finished second in both the 50 and 500 yard freestyle.

February 10, 2007 - SECTIONAL TOURNAMENT
District Qualifier: 200FSR. The girls 200 free relay team of Mackenzie Meadows,
Erin Tuggle, Jessica Kraer and Lauren Ford qualified for the district meet
in Athens on Saturday, February 17. Mackenzie Meadows swam the 100 breaststroke
with a season best 1:35. Erin Tuggle won her heat in the 100 back with a
time of 1:30. Go

Mackenzie Meadows earned her season target time in the 100 breaststroke with
a time of 1:36.66.

Lauren Ford came in 2nd in the 500 free and third in the 200 free. Rebecca
Koch swam the 50 free in a time of 30.7 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:32.85.

The girls 200 medley relay team of Kraer, Meadows, Koch and Ford started the
meet on a good note by beating their target time by almost 2 seconds, finishing
in 2:33.18. Lauren Ford won the 500 free event with a time of 6:35.66. The
girls 200 free relay team of Koch, Ford, Kraer and Meadows took third place
in a time of 2:07.63, their best time of the season. Jessica Kraer swam her
best time of the season (1:32.25) in the 100 backstroke.

9, 2006 - Tri meet w/ Watkins Memorial & Bishop Hartley
Jessica Kraer swam personal best times in both the 100 Back and
100 Free. Mackenzie Meadows swam a 1:47.42 to take third in the
100 Breast. Ciera Martin swam the 200 Free and easily beat her
expected time. Laurin Ford took third with a time of 6:57.98 in
the 500 Free. Erin Tuggle swam her best time of 1:18.55 in the
100 Free.
December 5, 2006 Tri meet w/ Hilliard Davidson & Grove
City
Ciera Martin swam a personal best time in the 100 Free. Lauren Ford placed
third in the 200 Free. The 200 Free Relay team of Ford, Kraer, Martin and Meadows
earned a third place finish. Erin Tuggle finished third in the 100 Back.

Tournament Note: Congratulations to the Girls Swim
Team on a great job at Districts. Rebecca Koch, Lauren Ford,
Brook Wampler, and Danielle Thiel competed in the 200 medley,
the 200 free relay, and the 400 free relay. They were able
to drop time in each event, swimming the medley in 2:17, the
200 in 1:56.41, and the 400 in 4:25.90 and also taking first
in their heat.

Note: Top finishers were Senior Danielle Thiel finishing
7th in both the 200IM and the 100Breast. In the 200IM she
finished with a 2:37.45 and in the 100Breast with a 1:19.11.
Rebecca Koch finished with a time of 1:26.31 in the 100Breast
and Gary Horsley finished with a 1:02.40 in the 100FS and
a 28.83 in the 50FS. All Swimmers did a great job, with many
of them swimming personal best times. Great Job!
