Freshman Football Conditioning
Conditioning and weightlifting for the 2008/09 Freshman Football Team is scheduled for Mondays & Wednesdays from 4pm-5:30pm in the CCHS weight room, beginning Monday, January 28, 2008. Any current 8th grade male student that will be eligible to attend CCHS in the 2008/09 school year is eligible to participate.

The Comets had a BIG win over Teays Valley! Arnold had a 29 yard touchdown from a Vinnie Williamson pass. And Williamson had a 5 yard touchdown run. Taylor had two points after touchdowns and Jason Faiella had 28 yard touchdown from a Williamson pass.08.31.06 Freshman: The Freshman Football team improved to 2-0 last night with a dominating win over Westland, 46-6. The Comet offensive line controlled the line of scrimmage throughout, as the Comet offense rolled to over 400 yards of total offense, including over 300 yards on the ground. The Defense turned in another outstanding performance, holding the Cougars to under 100 yards of total offense, forcing 5 turnovers and keeping their offense out of the endzone the entire game. The Defense has now gone 8 straight quarters without allownig an offensive touchdown! The Freshman football team takes their undefeated record on the road next wed. to face Olentangy Liberty at 7:00.

08.24.06 Freshman: The Central Crossing Freshman Football team opened up the season last Thursday with an impressive win over Watkins Memorial, 26-14. The Comet defense played outstanding, keeping Watkins out of the endzone for the entire game and forcing 6 turnovers. Offensively, the Comets got great play from the offensive line and were able to move the ball on the ground and through the air effectively, including 4 touchdown passes to 4 different receivers.
