The comet Swim Team participated in a duel meet with Grandview Heights on November 27th. This was the swim teams' first meet of the season and many exceptional performances were turned in. For the boys squad, Nick Martin, Bryant Long, Chris Aldea, and Jacob Jenkins took first place and set a new school record in the 200 yard freestyle relay. Nick Martin took first place in the 500 freestyle and 100 yard breaststroke setting new school records in both events. Chris Aldea took second place in both the 100 and 200 yard freestyle events. Bryant Long had second place finishes in both the 50 Free and 100 yard backstroke, and Kelly Jones finished second in the 100 yard breaststroke.

February 10, 2007 - SECTIONAL TOURNAMENT
No District Qualifiers. Zach Conley beat his own team record in the 200 free with a time of 2:09. Bryant Long swam a 27.05 in the 50 free, beating his season target time for the third time this season. Nick Martin set a new 500 free record with a time of 5:52. February 3, 2007 - Grove City/ Wellington
Nick Martin and John Wagner finished 1-2 in the 100 breaststroke with both swimming faster than the team record. Martin won with a time of 1:18.06 for a new team record but Wagner beat the old record also with a time of 1:18.15. Zach Conley swam his best times in the 200 free (breaking his old team record) and the 500 free (6:00.68). Bryant Long beat his revised season target time in the 50 free with a time of 27.44.

January 27, 2007 - OCC Central Championships
Thomas Worthington 289, Delaware 269, Pickerington North 221, Marysville 213, Westerville Central 171, Central Crossing 41. Nick Martin and John Wagoner both swam personal best times in the 100 breaststroke, dueling neck and neck to a 1-2 finish in their heat. Martin swam a 1:20.27 with Wagoner right behind at 1:20.66. Martin also swam the 500 free in a time of 5:57.62, a new team record. The boys medley relay team of Martin, Wagoner, Conley and Long broke their own team record with a time of 2:07.45.

January 23, 2007 - Tri Meet
Nick Martin won the 500 free and took second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:22.43. The boys 200 free relay team of Long, Wagoner, Diemer and Bullock took 3rd place, as did the 400 free relay team of Martin, Conley, Wagoner and Diemer.

The boys medley relay team of Martin, Wagoner, Conley and Long reset their own team record with a time of 2:08.9. Bryant Long beat his season target time in the 50 free by swimming a 27.45. Long also swam his best time in the 100 free with a 1:06.86. Nick Martin swam the 500 free in under six minutes (5:59.31) to establish a new team record in the event. Zack Conley previously held the team record, and he finished the race with his best ever time of 6:04.72.

Zach Conley broke his own team records in the 200 Free (2:17.22) and 500 Free (6:16.64). Nick Martin set a team record in the 100 Fly (1:14.78). The 400 Free Relay team of Aldea, Conley, Martin and Wagoner also set a new record (4:19.9). Chris Aldea finished second in the 100 Free with a time of 1:04.58 and third in the 50 Free (28.94). Josh Diemer swam personal best times in both the 50 and 100 Free. John Wagoner won the 100 Breast with a personal best time of 1:22.04.

December 5, 2006 Tri meet w/ Hilliard Davidson & Grove City
Nick Martin and John Wagoner finished first and second in the 100 Breast. Zach Conley finished second in the 200 Free. Travis Bullock swam his personal best time in the 50 Free.

Nick Martin won the 200 IM and set a new school record. Martin also set a school record in the 100 Fly. The 400 Free Relay team of Long, Aldea, Conley and Wagoner also set a school record. Bryant Long took second in the 50 Free. Zach Conley took first in the 500 Free and second in the 200 Free.
