August 26, 2006 - Whitehall Invitational
The Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams opened up their season this weekend at the Whitehall Invitational. Both teams earned first place honors. Leading the way for the Lady Comets were Lakeeya Jordan, finishing 2nd, and Rebecca Koch, finishing 6th. Rounding out the scoring for the Ladies was freshman Lauren Worthington, senior Brook Wampler, and freshman Hannah Weber. The Boys also earned the team championship lead by Corey Roberts in 2nd place and Jeremy Reckner in 5th place. Completing the scoring for the boys was sophomore Matt Shaffer, senior Andy Snyder, and freshman Chris Yanichko.

October 29, 2005 - Regional Tournament
The Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams competed at the Regional Meet at Pickerington North High School. Both teams finished 13th and ended their respected seasons by qualifying to the Regional Meet. Senior, Alex Jordan, created Central Crossing history by being the first ever Comet to qualify to the State Meet. He also earned Academic All-Ohio honors with his distinguished GPA combined with his Athletic success. Alex will compete this coming Saturday at Scioto Downs. Please congratulate Alex and all of the running Comets on a successful season.

October 22, 2005 - District Tournament
CONGRATS Cross Country Runners! The Boys came in Team scoring 8th out of 17 Teams with a 199 total points. 7th went to Newark at 194 total points, 6th place Gahanna Lincoln at 194 total points, 5th place Lancaster at 169, 4th place Reynoldsburg at 112, 3rd place Worthington Kilbourne at 102, 2nd place Col. St. Charles at 85 and 1st place went to Hilliard Darby of 78 total points. For Central Crossing: Alex Jordan 8th place overall at 17:43, Corey Roberts 22nd place overall at 18:22, Andrew Snyder 45th place overall at 18:57, Daniel Tucker 60th place overall at 19:26, Sean Hagerty 64th place overall at 19:34, Jeremy Reckner 70th place overall at 19:51 and 89th place overall for Chris Aldea at 20:28. The Girls and Boys Cross Country Team's had outstanding performances with the Girls finishing 2nd out of the 27 Team field and the Boys finishing 3rd. The Lady Comets were led by sophomore Brooke Bohanan who finished 4th with a time of 20.02. Brianna Barber, Samantha Meadows, Lakeeya Jordan and Rebecca Koch rounded out the scoring for the Ladies. The Boys were led by Senior Alex Jordan who finished 3rd, breaking his own school record with a time of 16.30. Sophomore Corey Roberts finished 7th giving the Comets a nice 1-2 punch. Rounding out the scoring for the Boys were Daniel Tucker, Adam Lattimer and Andy Snyder.

The Boys finished 2nd overall out of the ten teams earning runner-up honors. Alex Jordan and Corey Roberts finished 2nd and 4th respectively. Alex broke his own school record with a time of 16.49. Daniel Tucker, Andy Snyder, and Brad Williamson rounded out the top 5.
