02.05.10 & 02.06.10 GAME CHANGES

> All CCHS basketball games scheduled for tonight (both home and away, both girls and boys) have been cancelled for Friday, 02/05/10. Boys Basketball rescheduled to Monday, February 8, 2010 at Worthington Kilbourne (same times). Girls Basketball rescheduled to Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Central Crossing . All at the same times, same locations (Girls games at CCHS; Boys games at Worthington Kilbourne).

> The swim meet scheduled for tonight at the Westerville Rec Center has been cancelled

> ALL OTHER ATHLETIC EVENTS FOR 02.05.10 AND 02.06.10 HAVE BEEN CANCELLED

DINE TO DONATE
There will be a Dine to Donate this Friday, 02/05/10 at the Applebees Restaurant on Georgesville Rd from open to close. Flyers for this event will be passed out at the Girls Basketball game, as well as at the concession stand. You may also pick one up from the athletic office or the reception desk at CCHS. The Athletic Boosters will receive 10% of your total bill as a donation when you present the flyer to your server at Applebees. Thanks for your support!

SPORTS MED CLASS
Mike Medich and Larry Sutton will hold a Sports Med class at WHS on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at 4:30pm. The class is free to SWCS coaches. Coaches do have to pay for the other requirements including the Pupil Activity License, Fundamentals of Coaching Class, and CPR.

SOFTBALL CONDITIONING
Softball conditioning will be held
> Softball conditioning for Friday, 02/05 has been changed to 3:30 - 5:30 (rather than 5:30 - 7:30)

INTERESTED IN TRACK & FIELD
For any students interested in participating with Track and Field, there will be a meeting/ conditioning on Monday from 4:15pm to 6pm on court # 3 in the auxiliary gym.

Announcement Regarding Conditioning
Due to the levy not passing prior to the school year start for the 09/10 school year, several sports are currently without coaches. The Athletic Department would like to suggest and strongly encourage our student-athletes to continue working on their skills, strength, etc., via local recreation centers, YMCA's, Fitness Centers, with our other teams, etc., until coaches are in place for those sports.

Weight Room Hours
The weight room will be open for any students interested in lifting or conditioning. The weight room will be open each Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45pm to 4:45pm.

CCHS Star Passes Available
The Athletic Department is selling "Star Passes". Each pass has 15 admissions to CCHS home contests and is transferable to another person. There's no expiration date, so you can carry leftover admissions to next school year. The pass is only good for regular season home contests at Central Crossing. Passes are sold during school hours at the activity's window or at the ticket booths during the home contests. Prices are $65 for Adults ($25 savings over the 15 admissions) and $30 for Students ($15 savings over the 15 admissions). For more information, please call 614-801-6517.
